Origin:
Their origin was unknown until 1950. The fruit was probably discovered in Barbados around 1750. It is cultivated today in almost all subtropical countries of the world. The USA is the main producer of grapefruit, with plantations in Florida and Texas. The main producers for Europe are Israel, Cyprus and Spain.
Characteristics and substances:
Grapefruit kernel extract (100%) is a glycerin-containing extract of kernels and inner shells. It has bioflavonoids and polyphenols as well as tocopherols and vitamin C.
Usos:
Drink 10-20 drops daily in a 0.25l glass of water or juice. Do not exceed the daily amount.
