Origin:

The Calendula also called Pot marigold is a native of Southern Europe and has been known as ornamental and medicinal plant since the 12th century.

Characteristics and substances:

Only the curative petals are used for calendula oil. The blossoms contain essential oil, carotenoids, plant acids and saponines. Organic, high-quality cold-pressed GMO-free soybean oil is used as base oil.

Applications:

The components of the calendula have anti-inflammatory and curing effects on open wounds and cuts. Calendula oil has been used for centuries in traditional medicine and is an excellent processing component for use in ointments, creams and lotions.
