The elderberry is a native medicinal plant which has already been used for centuries. Elderberryseed oil is produced from the seeds of wild growing elderberries.
Characteristics and substances:
Elderberry seed oil is a greenish and cold-pressed oil. Elderberry seed oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (more than 75%) and also contains carotenoids, glykosidic compounds and flavonoids.
High-quality edible oil is used to refine other edible oils. Already a small quantity is sufficient to flavor food, tea and dressings.
